Hello! So it took me a month to get around to posting for my little baby Abigail. I have to apologize to her, cause I meant to get back online for the whole last month but the time flew by each day between the feedings, recouperating, and just trying to keep up with her! Anyway, I am so pleased to finally get a chance to write and let her and anyone who happens to read this someday know how much I love her. She's such a perfect little angel. And we really are blessed to have her in our lives. She's is a real charmer.
Abigail was born on January 28, 2008, at 11:04am, at Southampton Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz, and was 20 inches. One month later she is already 8 lbs 13 oz and 21.5 inches. It is really amazing to see the growth and development after just 1 month, and to see how much she has changed. I would say the same is true for us as parents - to learn so quickly how to care for a baby is amazing. Insticts really took over for us and luckily we seem to have good intuition as to what steps to take to give our all to her. I must say this is the biggest life changing event I think anyone could ever go through. And now that I'm a mommy, I feel like nothing is more important than my little baby Abby. Our new purpose in life is to raise her as best we can...
More will come soon... she's calling to be fed so duty calls! It is such an amazing feeling to be so important to such a sweet little one. I love love love our little girl, and will enjoy the time I get to post a few things here and there about her and our new family.
